Consultant and Managing Director Tim
Weaver has spent 30 years in the Computer
Industry providing a variety of technical,
management and consultancy roles with
prestigious companies.
Tim has considerable breadth
of knowledge of ICT systems and is very
experienced
at advising small and medium sized businesses
on comprehensive, integrated ICT solutions
to provide business advantage. As a Deputy
National Councillor & Director of the
Federation
of Small
Businesses, (FSB),
and as Chairman of the FSB Regional Policy Committee Tim has extensive experience
of working with SMEs.
He spent 15 years in the
financial services sector in Europe,
managing IT
infrastructure projects and development
projects for trading
and
banking
systems, price dissemination systems
and communications networks. He has also
provided
consultancy
on business & product strategy, and
on project management techniques.
He is a fully qualified
Chartered Engineer and Chartered IT
Professional with European language
skills. He is a seasoned IT professional,
well versed in consultancy and project
management techniques,
with considerable experience of managing
difficult, high risk technical projects
as well as working with users to identify
solutions to strategic business requirements.
He has a First Class Honours
Degree in Computer Science and is a
Professional
Member of the British
Computer Society (BCS), a Fellow of the
Institute
of Mathematics and its Applications (FIMA),
as well as being a Fellow of The
Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts,
Manufactures & Commerce (FRSA).
Tim has in depth knowledge
and experience of Microsoft Windows,
Microsoft Office including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint & Access, Microsoft FrontPage,
Microsoft Project, PMW, Macromedia Dreamweaver,
Adobe Photoshop, Actinic eCommerce and
document management systems.
He also has
extensive experience in producing & reviewing
documentation including sales literature,
bid documents, RFIs (Requests
For Information), tender
documents, proposals and technical manuals. |
